The Thai Fund, Inc. (the Fund) is a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fund's investment objective is long-term capital appreciation through investment primarily in equity securities of companies organized under the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. The Fund seeks long-term capital appreciation and integrates top-down sector allocation and bottom-up stock selection with a growth bias. The Fund invests in derivative instruments. The Company invests in various sectors, such as construction and engineering; real estate management and development; banks; transportation infrastructure; wireless telecommunication services; hotels, restaurants and leisure, media; oil, gas and consumable fuels; independent power producers and energy traders, and other. The Fund invests in the Institutional Class of the Morgan Stanley Institutional Liquidity Funds. Morgan Stanley Investment Management Inc. acts as the advisor for the Fund.
