Companhia Brasileira de Petr�leo Ipiranga keeps South America well oiled. The company supplies petrochemicals and chemicals for the Central and South American markets. The refining and marketing company (which has about a quarter of the Brazilian fuel distribution market) operates a network of more than 7,000 Ipiranga-branded gas stations. Its chemical products include polymers, process oils, resins, and solvents used by the adhesive, paint, and rubber industries. Ipiranga also distributes fuels/lubricants and related products in the South and Southeastern regions of Brazil. The company is a subsidiary of by Brazilian energy giant Ultrapar.
