Aberdeen Asia-Pacific Income Fund, Inc. is a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fund's principal investment objective is to seek current income. The Fund may also achieve incidental capital appreciation. To achieve its investment objectives, the Fund invests approximately 80% of its net assets, plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes, in Asian debt securities, Australian debt securities and New Zealand debt securities. The Fund invests in corporate bonds, government bonds, supranational and short-term investments. The Fund's investment portfolio spans across various regions, including the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, India, Norway, Germany, the Netherlands, Bangladesh, South Korea, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, Indonesia, China and Sri Lanka. Aberdeen Asset Management Limited serves as the investment advisor of the Fund. Aberdeen Asset Management Asia Limited is the investment manager of the Fund.
