Having the US Government in AIG is like having all our Vets that died
in the great wars in cages. You risk a tremendous amount. I don’t know
how you are going to get out, but you need to get out. 2010 is fast

There's three reasons that Moody's is probably right.

1) AIG gets its Fed credit line reduced by $25 billion if it completes
the sale of its Taiwanese insurer and one other unit. The Fed will get
a big ownership share in the spun-off companies (to unload whenever it
wants, I guess). Then AIG will only owe about $19 billion to the Fed.

Is it possible that gs short position coIncides with options volume
from last quarter? If so, there's no telling where thus could go next
week as options expired last Friday. Options are on the decline so I
expect gs will close their short position if they haven't already.
That gs reporting was ages ago, even though it's only in the news last
