Subject: Re: Mr. William Clay Ford, are your companies tactics fair or Legal?
A college job I had was financing at CarMax. In doing such I signed
all finance documents with the customers. I don't know Ford's practices. But with every bank we used to finance customers (there was somewhere around 10) we gave the customer an address and phone number to call if they had not received their payment book with in two weeks. You had almost two months before you needed to make your first payment. That is plenty of time to figure out something was wrong. While I am usually quite sympathetic to the consumer I can't imagine how a responsible adult living in a civilized society couldn't figure out in almost two months how to resolve this problem. The bank isn't responsible for you to make your payments, you are and you signed a contract stating as much. You must Sign in before you can post messages.
