And those options are now worthless. On a positive note, your loss was
limited to .35 while holders are now down $1.

Only difference is the holders can ride this out, while the option
players have to lick their wounds and keep on moving.

Goldman Saches upgraded their rating of DELL to BUY and Bernstein
upped its target price to $18.00.
Both these expect DELL to beat consensus Q3 estimates.

CIT has a contingency plan. As soon as the courts approve CIT's
Bankrupty plan the federal government will give a 2nd bailout. This is

both parts added...so your quantifying the wrong scenario....all of
perots clients in healthcare, government, manufacturing, banking,

Because Micheal Dell, the moron, decided to buy a company for $3.9
billion on net income on yearly basis around 120 million. Not too
bright if you ask me.

sales beat expectations. The Salesforce.com deal is the future for

Currently, the fundamental analysis for DELL is $16.98 a share, we are
more than $1.00 below that valuation. Once Dell recieves an upgrade
or has some news come out, this stock will run to at least valuation.
Just look at the previous gap down and how it has been filled within
the last week. I own Dell as a core position and look for it to go to

I bought Dell earlier in the week because getting a smartphone to the
market by early 2010 and selling it through AT&T, will be a win-win
for Dell's earnings in mid 2010. Plus, the holidays should be good

My logic for investing in DELL is simple: These are tough times for
businesses. They are cutting costs and improving efficiencies. DELL
makes low cost efficiency improvement machines (PCs, servers etc.), so
they are benefiting from current market conditions.
On top of that, Mr. Mechel Dell came back to take control.
