When money velocity goes up, hang on to your hat. We are still pegged
to oil, not gold. There WILL be a historic run of inflation for about
12 months before it is reigned in with higher taxes, bank reserve
rates, discount and overnight rates, FOMC operations, etc. (now that
the banks will be healthy)
