Fully agree with Rayford and Bob, offshoring is about current bottom
line and has nothing to do with US workers. Offshoring doesn't save
money in the long run but there's no way to quantify the # of

in America. Its about ways to fatten the bottom line so Mark Hurd can

with all the benefits (money and R&D and +++) in the US and the HP

HP is no model company at all. HP's offshore workforce is not
cheaper ... you get what you pay for.

with the general market but Stock is undervalued when you compare

Their Media Smart server is one of the most expensive devices in its
class, not to mention a very tiny portion of their business. Their
recent acquisition of EDS should make for some good long term growth

It is not hard to be better then DELL, but HP's overall quality is
down a lot, their printers have very bad consumer reviews, and their
customer service will sink the ship, as most customers who used to
trust HP name moving to other manufacturers. I'd say sell, bfore it is

Legacy of Bill Hewlett is gone. Check what people are saying about
their products on numerous message boards. The most common thing:
"I'll never buy another HP again" Most of my IT friends buy "Brother"
