"Bear Stearns co- president resigns"
http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/News/International__Business/Bear...

Actually, he was asked for his resignation (read in a Forbes.com
article).

"Bear Stearns spooked investors Friday saying it has halted share
buybacks to preserve capital as it faces the most difficult debt
markets in more than two decades"

ok, the above is regarding BSC shares, but they are a huge presents in
DRL's "holdings".

If they end up going down, what will happen to DRL shares?  I know
this is two different ball games, but there are no rules to play by
when investors get scared. I'm pretty sure this is part of the current
price drop in DRL, along with the reverse split and just bad times on
the NYSE period.

I believe it would be wise to consider all of these things when the
time comes to "cover".  I could be wrong, but I believe the price will
go down even further before the 17th.

I guess it's a concern. after all, they own 90% of DRL now, so you'd
be a fool not to consider the relevance.

Still, I am confident that DRL will survive what shall probably be
known as the "2007 Sub-Prime Meltdown". I just wish I had bought in at
a slightly lower price... and this 1:20 thing is the DUMBEST thing
ever, upon retrospect. Hindsight is 20/20, I guess. I just try to keep
myself aware as to what's all going on in every possible aspect of
DRL, to keep my finger on the pulse.
