LEN posts earnings tomorrow.  I don't like the current market, stocks
that should be decreasing are increasing and stocks that should be
increasing are decreasing.  Very frustrating.

Any opinions on the effect of LEN's earnings results tomorrow?  KBH's
negative earnings sent a mild shockwave through the industry, but now
KBH is back up 20% and higher.

I'm short from 17.13 on LEN.

I agree with Smith - hang in there on the short. Earnings are bad and
getting worse for at least the next 2 quarters.

I do think you can expect home buying to pickup from this point
forward due to the lower interest ratesand masive discounts. But, it
will take a loooooooong time before that equates into profits for LEN
- if ever.  Its my opinion that they have at least a year to clear out
existing supply at below-cost prices. But, prepare for better comps.
You'll here good news on the comparable sales starting in about 90
days which could lead to a higher stock price.

No profits for the home builders until demand exceeds supply. When
will that be????

Matt

Well, today was the day. So far I see an increase of between 1-2
percent.  It really baffles me, posting a huge loss and the stock
price is still increasing even when they claim they don't see
conditions improving in 2008.

It's called the PPT:

Plunge Protection Team.

They're manipulating the markets any way they know how to keep it from
crashing, but it won't hold up - NOTHING can stop the bear now. These
futile manipulations could result in a gentler or harder crash, but it
will crash nonetheless.

JMVHO.

I am personally in search of real estate property so far I heard that
LEN, KBH and TOL builders build good quality stuff....Pulte...I got
real bad reviews from close buddies...anyways...since one more FED cut
is up on MAR 17th...we have to wait and see how this stock fly
high...or remains same...

LEN has a pretty good credibility - as per the guidelines mentioned in
securities analysis book...this second largest company seems to have a
good growth. KBH also has good foundamentals.

Good luck for all...cheers!!!
