The Raptor is the best fighting aircraft in the world, in all
aspects. So, you only need so many to kick the crap out of another
country. In fact, the only reason they put a pilot in the F-22 is
incase of computer failure. (Easier to replace a pilot than a plane)

F-22 program is halted and it jumps 9%? Is there some news item I'm
missing? That was fairly unexpected (at least enough so that it could
not possibly have been fully priced in) and bad, bad news for

That's also a microeconomic evaluation.

It looks like their stock is just a little bit more volatile than the
S&P, and the OP got in while LM was a bit up.

Now, considering that F-35 contract, they're probably a quality

Yeah, you're thinking of things in too much of a microeconomic way.
Have you seen all over the news how they might be cutting the F-22? It

A quick check suggests that an EPS $7.05 yields a P/E ratio of 14 if
LMT was at $100 or just over 11 for $80/share. Both of those seem like
reasonably low P/E scores, but it would be worthwhile to compare them
to other defense industry stocks.

TA does not work very well in this market. The one day chart also
showed a reversal bar on high volume - a indication that the downtrend
