Defense stocks, such as this, can either be the safest or one of the
worst investments you could have once the 2008 election. It would be
safe; of course, with any standard Republican candidate (save Ron
Paul), and unsafe if any Democrat were elected to office. Outlook is
not so good at the moment because of recent general election polls
that place every Democratic frontrunner above every Republican. Think
the future for these stocks will brighten up?
