I bought a few shares of Apple at 90.02 around a month ago just for
fun. Now the stock is at 110.00 and I really want to invest. I am
wondering if it is simply too late to invest, or a really bad time.
Everyone is hyped about the Iphone and I am curious if anyone thinks
this stock will ever go down under 100 again. Does anyone still think
its a good idea to invest in Apple at this point and time?

Lucky you.

I was lame.  I sold mine hoping to buy lower, and in the meantine make
some money in DNDN.  Well I lost 2/3 of that, and now aapl is higher,
though still a worthwhile buy-- most likely.

It is a GOOD time to invest for either a few weeks to a few months -
or- for 1 year plus, in which case you dips between then and now will
not matter.  Sometime this year it should be lame for a while.  Apple
may be a $200 stock in two years if things stay on this fine course.
That said, it is still a somewhat risky stock.

I almost fell for DNDN but I figured I was too late once again and
thank god I didn't invest! It just appears that I can't go wrong with
Apple if I decide to go long but the short term is what I am concerned
about. I am curious if it has any chance of peaking really soon and
crashing.

Repeat after me, five times:

"It's never to LATE to invest in a great company, but it may be to
EARLY to jump in".

How much moneys youz got and willing to invest in this puppy?  Take
that amount, divide by 3.  Take the first 3rd and buy today (limit
order at your bid price).  Spend the next 1/3 if the price drops to
108'ish and the last 1/3 if the price drops to 106'ish.

Now, set oven to 350 degrees and put Apples in the oven.  Let bake 2-3
years and enjoy!

Best regards,

Mike

Well I guess I'll just buy 10 shares then. Maybe I'll put the other 20
into Amgen.
