Well I'm over here on a 2003 XP machine, and that all there's going to
be. Even though it's a virus magnet, and a constant irritant of
locking up, can't be updated to even open up most things anymore (like
that Silverlight foolishness). What a piece of junk, but I'm not going

Personally, I'd spend that extra money and get a MBP for the big jump
in speed and usability. Just sold my 24" iMac (two years old and
still fast as hell) because I've been drooling over the new 27". I'm
temporarily using a white macbook (waiting for Black Friday sale) and
it barely does everything I'm used to. The macbook is not bad, it's

It all depends on your investment style and goals. I can't give you
advice, sorry. I usually trade options that are at least 2 to 3
months away from expiration. That way I don't care as much what
happens during OE weeks. I have however started playing the max pain
moves (greedy market makers are a bit predictable over the long run)

No manipulation? I guess not, but the funds folks have lots of stock
and options and they have no problem in a low volume situation buying
or selling the underlying instrument to keep their options from being
worthless. It just makes financial sense for them to do so. But it's
something other folks can't do.
