Except for the fact that the US has been on a decline and China has
been on the rise for quite sometime now. The gap is closing up faster
than ever especially after this economic crisis. Once the Mideast
starts using currency other than the USD to sell oil, it's over.

Apple certainly needs to keep this rumor alive to continue to drive up
share price. The analysts seem to get very excited over the prospect
of an Apple tablet. I can hardly wait to own one even if it's
relatively expensive. I'll pass on the mass market eReaders although

Reasonable volume yesterday, however the $192 level acted as
resistance. It ducked over it for 5 minutes and then drifted lower all
day. Basically an "inside day" as it failed to break up or down out of
the range of the day before.

Watch AAPL's behaviour as it approaches $192 again. Pushing through it

a) analyst consensus for $230-ish
b) strong growth in online content sales through ever more pipelines
into increasingly tight, slick and smooth ecosystem
c) potential for another 'game changer' product if/when Tablet emerges
d) consistent premium margins in Mac
e) iPhone still world benchmark, with expectation of significant

The fact of the matter is that this stock, like all American stocks,
suffers the same underlying problem: there is no economy. Unemployment
gets worse, and for those capable of opening their eyes when they pass
a car dealership, the new cars are parked slanted across 2 or 3
parking spaces to cover up the fact that they ain't got no inventory.

It's really impossible for this stock to sell off too much. In the
middle of a fantastic quarter, AAPL is sure to blow out earnings
forecasts next month. Christmas sales are obviously very strong. AAPL

That's not it. AAPL has a market cap of $172B. It has more than $30B
in cash alone. No way saving $60 million on the purchase of LaLa
pushed the company up more than a full percentage point. That's be

million for the new aquisition instead of the rumored 80 million. We

It's about time Apple didn't just roll over and die with the rest of
the market. Caylon Securities upgraded Apple today with a buy rating
and $260 target price. I'm sure that's what's holding Apple from
taking a swan dive. At least it's showing some strength today.
