CVS IS GOING TO GIVE THE WORST POSSIBLE RESULT.
CONSUMERS ARE CUTTING BACK. PRESCRIPTIONS ARE GETTING ALMOST FREE OR
COMPETITIVE. NO ECB's ARE BEING ALLOWED.

This isn't going the way of RAD. I see no indication of that what so
ever @ this point & time.

 Dig deeper.

CVS doesn't have the same issues Rite Aid does. Balance sheet is
strong. You need to take a look at your numbers again ashish.

Like most investor driven companies in this economy, CVS is setting
the stage for a strong year by throwing out the bad numbers at the end
of this year. Still, just a small part of the large Ponzi scheme we
call the market so who knows what's in store.

An increase in their dividend should calm some of your fears.

REM:
The increase in the dividend is less than a penny, which puts the
yield at 1.1%.  I like CVS and this is a good price, but I don't hold
stock for dividends unless it is has over a 6% yield.  I don't have
any fears about CVS, they are going to do fine.  I will hold them for
the long term because in 2010 they will turn the costs of the first
years contracts into profit not because of a .1% increase in dividend
yield.

I agree with you rs, however my point was by raising the dividend
(second increase in less than a year), management is confident CVS has
the ability to weather the storm we're all in and grow in the future.
Keep in mind this discussion was started on an assumption CVS will
turn out like Rite Aid....talk about over-reaching.
