Subject: DOLLAR TROUBLE SOON!!!!
The U.S. government’s official debt is at an all-time high of $11.8
trillion. Every year, Washington has to make a staggering $335.3
billion in interest payments just to avoid default on that debt. In
fact, just the interest on the national debt now equals 12% of all
federal spending.

The Federal Reserve is also in hock up to its eyeballs — the
liabilities on its balance sheet have DOUBLED — from $1.2 trillion a
year ago to more than $2 trillion today.

Most terrifying of all — especially with the first wave of almost 4
million baby boomers reaching retirement age this year — unfunded
government IOUs are coming due on Social Security, Medicare, and
Federal pension payments. Those obligations are enormous: An
estimated
$104 TRILLION.

We are now the single most indebted nation in the history of the
planet. We owe more to foreign investors, retirees and ordinary
citizens than we could ever hope to repay.

And that’s not the half of it: Washington will add an all-time record
$1.8 trillion to the national debt, pushing our budget deficits to
almost 13% of GDP.

This year and every year for the foreseeable future, Washington will
have to borrow 80% of the world’s surplus savings just to pay its
bills!

Google is in the process of launching the new wave platform:

Looks as though they are combining facebook, twitter, myspace etc...
all in one place. Could all the social websites become obsolete?

Subject: NWSA selected as Buy of the Day
The Oxen Group selected News Corp. as its pick of the day, stating:

The Oxen Group, for Tuesday, is excited about the prospects for News
Corporation, who owns Fox and 20th Century Fox. The reason for this
excitement is because of the release of Night at the Museum: Battle
for the Smithsonian, which won the box office over the weekend. Not
only did Night at the Museum win the box office, it beat out the
highly anticipated Terminator: Salvation, and it accrued over $20
million more than the original Night at the Museum did in its first
weekend, and through the four days from Friday had earned $70 million
in sales. It was lead actor Ben Stiller's best box office weekend to
date. News Corp. will definitely benefit from the success of the
movie, and noted before the release that they would be happy with
anything over $60 million. This news come at a great time for News
Corp., who like many other news affiliated media companies, has been
taking a beating in the market. Shares have risen since a low of $4.95
in the past month and half, but the company has seen some
declines in the past week and has tons of potential for growth on
Tuesday. Technically...

I have one question. When do they start streaming ESPN?!?! Disney
currently runs clips of shows on YouTube, most people would like to be
able to view the full episode of their favorite show, hopefully they
dont make the same decision with HULU. voicedup.com

In what could reshape the landscape of social web sites, MTV has
agreed to split ad revenues with Facebook and Twitter. This is the
first time a social networking site will share ad revenues generated
from the broadcast of the show with a major content provider instead
of just receiving exposure for the site. This venture will certainly
lead to other social web sites to demand the same content sharing deal
from large corporations looking to take advantage of the new up and
coming social networking sites. Left out of this equation is Myspace.
It will be interesting to see how NewsCorps Rupert Murdoch markets the
second largest social web site with its 130 million members worldwide.
