Subject: Uncertain Times For Progressive
Today’s market is extremely volatile for Progressive and uncertainty
is handicapping individual investors in their struggle for
profitability.

My firm deals with an algorithmic trading system that automatically
trades both stock indices and commodities. Mathematical functions
analyze the waves of the current market price and issue buy, sell or
exit signals based on probabilities that the price will move in a
specific direction. The system is most profitable in volatile markets,
and employs risk parameters that ensure the safety of one’s
investment.

Our worst performing month was September of 2006 which showed a 1%
loss.  In October of 2008 (because of the volatility in the market) we
showed a 94% gain. We have an almost 3.5 year track history which is
able to be documented.

One of my assistants will be able to give you information. In order to
qualify, you must have a minimum of $15,000 of capital and you must
read and follow the instructions on the bottom of this page or you
will not get a response.

Please note, we do not hold your money- a credible broker such as
Goldman Sachs or JP Morgan actually holds the account money (so you
can withdraw or deposit whenever you want).

I can't give out all the details, publicly, but if you are interested
email Eric at:

*** PLEASE READ INSTRUCTIONS IN ITS ENTIRETY ***

I am extremely busy with clients, so you MUST request an appointment
to call me Monday through Friday between 9 AM and 5 PM EST.  One of my
assistants will tell you whether or not I am available that day. Also,
my assistants will NOT respond to any email with general questions if
an appointment is not set.

Progressive does not have a financial institution holding company as
far as I know.

I just read on WSJ that

"The U.S. Treasury is considering buying a stake in certain insurance
companies as part of the federal bailout, The Wall Street Journal
reported Friday on its Web site, citing people familiar with the
matter. Under the Treasury's program, participating insurers would
need to have a financial institution holding company that is
regulated
at the federal level, according to the Journal."

What do you all think ?

Technical indicators for the stock are bearish but slightly improving
while S&P gives PGR a neutral 3 STARS (out of 5) hold rating. We will
just watch this one for now. There are no hedged trades we like for
