Subject: The best friend money can buy...
How could anyone say it better than Paul Otellini, Intel's CEO?  Well,
no one can.  Referring to Mike Dell taking payments from Intel to make
up for lost sales to AMD.  You have to remember back then Intel sold
sh*t to Dell while AMD had better products and Intel had to keep
marketshare one way or another to keep AMD down as they always have.

This should be good folks..I mean..for AMD shareholders.   What is
going to happen? Well, let's see here.  Intel has a battle on all
fronts with them charged for antitrust misconduct, natually appealing
everything and is costing $$$$ millions from their bottom line.
Shareholders have to be tired of this, all the bad publicity, how
unfair they are, nonstop claims of the "stranglehold" way of business
practice.   My guess is that no matter how much Intel hates AMD, they
will told to settle and move on, weather Intel likes it or not.  Paul
O. doesn't care if it cost a fortune,it's a way of life for him, but
investors do.

So then settle. Of coarse the amount will not be un-disclosed and
Intel will, you guessed it, deny ALL wrongdoing ((again))but to shut
everyone up,pay.  The amount?  It has to be large! Cover AMD's legal
cost and all the years of Intel screwing them out of billions, let's
just say to take AMD out of debt and cash+...who knows???

The idiots on Wallstreet may not see this, they think this will drag
on for years, I don't think so because Intel knows they ARE screwed,
just as the whole world does now.   Would this payment lift AMD's
share price?  How could it not?  I think those who hold long are in
for a world of joy.   Those who think AMD might be bought by Intel or
that AMD won't last are same ones who have been saying for this years
and are dense, obtuse..stupid whatever you want to call it.
"BOTH ain't gonna happen!"   It just takes a little common sense here,
not to much too much thinking here----that those two things would put
Intel right back on the chopping block.

Maybe Wallstreet will wake up to this even if they do hate AMD as much
as Intel does.  Being Patient IS the key here, don't you think?

You have summed it up my friend and made  the points only idiots could
argue with. This baby is going to the top and anybody who thinks
otherwise is full of SH**T. It will not drag on for ever and INTEL
will be paying thru the nose. Thanks for the summary my friend and
good luck

To the Fox and Pee Wee (PW) There will be no settlement.
AMD has Intel by the Balls. Jury will decide and award
Punitive trebble Damages to AMD. Since this is not the frist
AMD VS intel suit regarding anti trust unfair business practices
Intel was warned by the court in court order to
sease  such activity during the last trail. that means the case
was decided with prejudice against Intel. this allows the current
trial judge much more leeway under the law to hear evidence intel
may have been able to supress via motion. In effect the court
last time  told intel to act within the law and to never darken the
courts
doorsteps in the future over similar issues. Intel will pay billions.
they will be ordered to pay immeadiatly. Appeals although available
to Intel will be denied do to repeat offender past. Appellate court
will
toss Intels motion to suppress or reduce judgment.
(9th District Appellate leans toward the underdog plaintiff)

FOX, PW, Other thoughts The shoe is now on the other foot.
Wall street discounting AMD heavily, underestimating the power
of the Aba Dabia Sovern Wealth fund.  Asside from the fact
AMD chips have shown up in new Web enabled mobile phones
running MSFT 7 Mobile.  For example the stated goal of the
Wealth fund is to provide jobs within the KIngdom for the future.
To leverage the now thrid largest Semiconductor operation in
the world formed by, Global Foundries+ Chartered Semi (soon
to be second in the world, suppose the fund bought out Dell and used
AMD chips exclusively.  See my point.  AMD can put in place
a Pac-Man Strategy assisted by the Wealth Fund. to eat apart
Intel market share until collapses.  See my previous post outlining
AMD's ATI/Global Foundries/Chartered Semi. Changing the landsacpe
of the Semiconductor Industry.

No disrespect and you are entitled to your opinion, but NO one knows
what the outcome will be?  You, me or anyone at this point.  Intel has
a history of settling and "if the deal is acceptable, it can and could
happen.  We will just have to see how this all plays out. Most likely
you are right, the case will go to court.  Intel is under a lot fire
for lawsuit cost and need to get all of this behind them.  One thing
FOR SURE, Intel will pay in the end.  That is something we ALL agree
too!

I believe that AMD versus Intel court case will begin in March 2010,
assuming they do not manage to settle in advance of then? So I am
holding until then at least. If Intel are made to pay fair damages to
AMD the amount will be huge. I hav no idea what amount they will in
reality end up paying, but I think it will at least be very
significant.

All,  $3 to $5 Billion. Do the math the per share range is
$4.50 to $7.25. "Money good" by end of 2 QTR., or 3 QTR.
Judge will order immediate payment to AMD.  Decession against
Intel with prejudice as past performance bad boys which will limit
Intel's appeal prospects. This legal ground has been trampled by
Intel before, this time makes them the proverbial three time looser.
The law firm of Woods, Witherspoon and Bowser could win this one.
For those readers in Loma Linda, Reese Witherspoon played
a junior lawyer "Elle Woods" and Bowser was her lap dog in
the movie "Legally Blonde".

I think possibly Intel might agree with me on this one....and why they
settled for most part.  Also..I think the "agreed" amount that Intel
will pay is really more.
