What the hell is wrong with this company? After profits it goes up as
high as 2.5% and then drops?

Because the CEO was talking about live after the Iphone meaning that T
won't renew the exclusivity... Now if VZ is attacking the Iphone is
clear that they are not negotiating anything, so who is getting the
Iphone next?? Sprint? T-Homo??

I sold the 500 shares of T at $26.60 today that I had bought at $25.64
a few weeks ago. I figured this was going to happen, since T has
always kinda just been the type of stock you hold onto for the
dividend. I did listen to the conference call though, and there is
room for this company to grow, as was shown in the powerpoint slides
during the conference call. I could buy the stock back right here and
I would have sidestepped a 50 cent decline, not a bad stock to own,
but no sense in being overweight T when it may take a long time before
we see the stock price rise.

i don't really agree with your assessment.  i think taking a strong
position is worth it now--especially if the investor isn't a current
shareholder.  there's so much upside here.  excellent cashflow and
dividend history.

that being said, you don't sound like a "shareholder" so much as a
swing trader so it's a different perspective.  i don't buy and sell a
lot (not any more--more work than it's really worth).

Do you hold the physical stock certificates? Then they send you a
check. Otherwise your brokerage firm gets it on your behalf.

I don't have a stock cert. If the brokerage gets then it doesn't go to
my account?

No, vonage is failing. They already are in the VOIP business with
their UVerse offerings.

I bought T two weeks ago.  It's beat up but it's a blue chip.  You buy
it, hold it for a decade, and draw a fat dividend during the process.
What else is there to say?

I got a friend in at $25.50 but waited too long to buy mine at a
better price. I think T trades back to $25.50 and I will pull the
trigger.
