The shareholders!  Plus both AT&T and Verizon have declining
wireline revenues.  A merger would help offset the effects of that
declining business.

Looks like maybe T is on its way back up to $27.50 and possibly
higher. Nice 6% dividend in the meantime.

Should AT&T and Verizon merge.  It would create a wireless powerhouse.
What do you think?

No 4G bandwidth issues over at Sprint iPhone subscribers.  Get the
most out of the iPhone with Sprint for many years.

June of 2010. That’s when AT&T’s (T) iPhone exclusivity contract with
Apple (AAPL) expires.  We all know WiMax is Ready NOW!

Subject: The First VoIP call on the iPod Touch WiMax VoIP is Here
Kids and adults want WiMax VoIP right now.  It is a lot cheaper than
T's current pricing structure and T nor Vz want customers to find
out.  Kids are using VoIP right now.  They drive this market and they
want iPhone and iTouch on WiMax VoIP and it's here.

Those who talk against VoIP don't want the truth to come out.  It
already makes calls to landline and wireless phones.  WiMax is "open"
technology and APPL wants an open technology partner.

The First VoIP call on the iPod Touch.  The same can be done with a
Sprint iPhone WiMax VoIP call today.

Subject: NEWS: KT Corp the Largest WiMax Telecom in S. Korea will Start Selling iPhone 3G/3GS for Wimax beginning Nov 28...
Nov. 22 (Bloomberg) -- KT Corp., South Korea’s largest phone and
Internet company, said it will begin offering Apple Inc.’s iPhones on
Nov. 28, becoming the first telecom to begin selling the iPhone
device
in the country to be operated on a Wimax network.  Internet orders
for
the iPhone 3G/3GS in South Korea began on Nov 20.

http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601080&sid=aVmMz.1f7ETM

Some will ask the significance of the S. Korea KT Corp WiMax and
iPhone 3G/3GS deal.  Few might not remember that in May of 2009
Sprint/
Clearwire began testing a mobile handset that would utilize WiMax
VoIP; that phone could be iPhone 3G/3GS or maybe even the upcoming
iPhone 4G.

VoIP services are available now and do not violate the AT&T/iPhone
exclusivity agreement.

I'm looking for the hidden landmine with T but I'm not finding it.

Usually stocks with a div this high have some kind of fatal flaw.  For
example, Terra Nitrogen (very high div) is going cash flow negative to
pay its dividend.  Altria (another high div stock) is facing
potentially 100s of billions in lawsuits.

I'm not seeing any such flaw in T.  It is just a steady performer in a
decent business.  What am I missing, if anything?

I'm looking for a little bit of a pullback and will buy some T just
below $25.50. I'll keep it for the 6%+ dividend and some upside who
knows when.
