IT bounced off of the support level on Thursday and opened higher
today. It should move higher just on the tech's but with the
possiblity of a buyout come can't hurt either. Any thoughts?

It already did.

It was trading around 23 just before Valero anounced it was going to
post a lost and sell more stocks to increase cash supplies.

Might be a little spike but, not dropping 5 bucks like it did.
Escpecially with the rumor that gas prices are going to go up 30 cents
per gallon in the next few weeks.

Crude price was crazy in 2008 and VLO had a negative return last year.

Has anybody tried the company that Valero just acquired assets from?
VeraSun Resources trading under VSUQE. I bought a few thousand shares
and got almost a 100 percent return... It's a penny stock but it

They lost $1B on $34B in assets (2008). I can see that the stock might
be increasing in '09 simply because of oil speculation, but because of

After Hours Weirdness

Has anyone seen what's happened to VLO SUN and XOM after hours???? VLO
and SUN both tanked on several huge trades and XOM had huge volume but
is up and down from the close to the same levels of loss in these
others.

Is this just trade adjustments in the post session or are these real
