  Tar Sands, deep sea, and shale are the only growth areas I can foresee &lt;br&gt; in the crude industry. I&#39;d say Frontier is positioned better than most &lt;br&gt; for tar sands (which is the biggest growth area). Because of this, &lt;br&gt; they will eventually get acquired. I&#39;d think the sooner the better, &lt;br&gt; before peak oil really becomes evident and the value of heavy crude

  Hey, I&#39;ve been watching this company for a little bit now(8 months), &lt;br&gt; and one thing is for sure they&#39;re consistent. I&#39;ve made good money &lt;br&gt; from this stock. I&#39;m just watching for the dips and the peaks. I think &lt;br&gt; this company will stay in the $10-$13 range for a little bit.(unless &lt;br&gt; there is unforeseen market fluctuations).   Crack spreads actually usually increase more when oil prices fall due &lt;br&gt; to &amp;quot;sticky&amp;quot; pricing. In general lower oil prices are better for &lt;br&gt; refiners since it gives them more room to hike gasoline prices.

  Oil has to come up to 65.00 to 80.00 per barrel. That shows demand for &lt;br&gt; crude products and increases &lt;br&gt; the crack spread on Gasoline. because the gas price rises higher. &lt;br&gt; Most money is made on Diesel the spread is higher, &lt;br&gt; At least that is what I understood from the CEO. &lt;br&gt; Correct me if i am wrong.

  I think we will hopefully see a dip (hopefully on my part anyway) &lt;br&gt; today. I was in at 9.30 and out at 10.40, then in again at 10.06. &lt;br&gt; Unfortunately, my conditions hit 12.25 after a peak of 13.xx, and my &lt;br&gt; shares were sold. I can&#39;t watch it constantly. Thus the problem we &lt;br&gt; have seen with this stock over the past few weeks. Big fluctuations

  True gas prices have come down. But remember that FTO has the &lt;br&gt; capability to refine darker heaver oils rather than gasoline. These &lt;br&gt; types of fuels have stickier pricing than gasoline which means more $ &lt;br&gt; for FTO. I have also deepened my position. The increasing dividend &lt;br&gt; payout over the last few years is also an incentive for me.

  I&#39;m going long on this one. I bought in at $17 back in August then &lt;br&gt; sold at $23, bought at $18 in September then sold at $23. Now I&#39;m in &lt;br&gt; at $9 and I&#39;m going to wait for the earnings release at the beginning &lt;br&gt; of Nov. so I&#39;m hopping it stays above ten, then shoots up.   agree with brock.. You can also see some guidelines from other &lt;br&gt; companies like TSO. It just raised its guidances for the quarter. &lt;br&gt; Earnings for these refiners companies will be incredible. I sold all &lt;br&gt; my refiners stocks 2 weeks and I am planning to buy them back in about &lt;br&gt; a week. If you still hold on to them, don&#39;t sell.

  naked shorts! no, not really. On a percentage basis, this one isn&#39;t &lt;br&gt; down quite as much. If you are holding shares, just keep holding. They &lt;br&gt; are positioned well geographically and will return to profitability in &lt;br&gt; 2009 if not in November.I wouldn&#39;t be surprised to see them picked up &lt;br&gt; by a larger oil company in 2009.   I&#39;d look to pick up some JAN 09 CALLS in the mid to upper 20&#39;s. When &lt;br&gt; the refiners start to show profits returning in November, this will &lt;br&gt; pop. It&#39;s just my opinion, but it&#39;s too hard to say where it will go &lt;br&gt; between now and start accumulating actual shares. A hedge with actual &lt;br&gt; crude, especially if it continues to plunge, is a no brainer.
