Tar Sands, deep sea, and shale are the only growth areas I can foresee
in the crude industry. I'd say Frontier is positioned better than most
for tar sands (which is the biggest growth area). Because of this,
they will eventually get acquired. I'd think the sooner the better,
before peak oil really becomes evident and the value of heavy crude

FTO has some nice refineries that aren't affected during hurricane
season. Seems like somebody will acquire them, and what better time

I saw this as well. Was it true that there was talk of a takeover of
FTO by VLO last year? The price of FTO spiked to almost $33 early
June of 2008. Could we see something like this again?

of the Steamboat Pilot, one of two things are true( or maybe even

one: the people in that town are idiots.

all oil stocks are in overbought condition. Many companies got
downgraded earlier today. Time to sell.
