Which do you think would have helped the stock price more?

While the buy backs spurred some interest, it doesn't seem to have
sustained.

Would raising the dividend have gotten more people interested in the
stock?

Just a hypothetical to break up all the spam posted here.

I know right...i report spam alll day...im so sick of it....buy ya i
think the div would push the stock up a lot more than this buyback.
People know a buyback is not for sure....they say they are going to
buy back 15 bill in stock but they really dont even have to buy $1. Im
sure WMT will buyback 10-12 billion in that time span but still a
dividend makes investers less fearfull.
