Subject: Note to Wal-Mart
You do realize you have shareholders don't you?  You do realize that
continued price cuts and a self-imposed attack on profit margins
doesn't help shareholders today right (highly questionable what these
will do to "grow the moat" in the long run)?  You do realize that
shareholders own the company and therefore expect 1 dollar of market
value for every dollar reinvested (which you are not providing at this
time) right?  You do realize that, although you expect us to be
patient as you parade around and sing about how great you are
(specifically the CEO) and how no retailer can compete with you, we
are only getting a 2% dividend yield from a very mature company right
(which is pathetic)?  You do realize that your shareholders are, and/
or are getting, just a tad frustrated with the BS speeches about
"increasing shareholder value" right?

Where's the $15 billion buyback?  If you were honestly taking that
many stocks out of the market then the stock wouldn't be as low as it
is today. Why aren't we getting more in the way of dividends while we
wait?  Where's the proof of long-term sustainable growth relating back
to today's price cuts (hell, where's the payback from all the money
spent upgrading stores)?

Isn't it just a tad bit ironic how the CEO speaks today and Mr. Market
cries foul and dumps the stock (again).  It's rather obvious that
shareholders don't like the smell of what WMT is cooking.

Way to go Duke and Castro.  Purposely destroy your own profit margins
and tank the stock.  Sure hope this helps your freaking options you
pathetic pieces of -_-_!

You guys talk an awful lot of junk for a management group that has
seen its stock tank, flatline, and tank again while everything else
has risen.  Pathetic.

Oh, by the way, anytime you actually want to start buying back $15
billion in stock please do so.  You've allowed it to get punched down
low enough.

Dont let the price dip fool u into selling your WMT stock. Take my
word this stock is the best defensive play in todays Mkt and has one
of the best potential of rising Big time.

Buy today and dont wait

Walmart is geting massive discounts from its suppliers for organising
these big sales which will push sales as well as margins for WMT. WMT
also gets bulk incentives if it meets targets of Fortune 500 companies
in terms of net sell and this will be a major factor.

Also dont forget if they sell everything out , it is better than half
or two thirds left over.

Yes, but you see, I'm trying reverse psychology at this point.  I've
been singing the praises about WMT for a while now and it's gotten us
nowhere.  So, I'm "going negative" in the hopes that Mr. Market will
eventually catch on.

Seems like this Nick guy is very speculative. Do some actual
valuations then guess work, as of now they have 33 billion dollars in
long term debt vs 66 bil in total equity. That is some serious
leverage. I wouldn't touch Walmart until they de-leverage themselves.
Of course, you can argue that Walmart is always profitable and
nothing  bad can happen to them. Then I'll just point to Worldcom and
Enron.

Well, you would have to do a thorough study of that debt in the 10Ks.
Much of the debt is just that, very long-term.  It's also being used
to spur growth in things that could be resold if needed (i.e. hard
assets/property).  It's not like what the Lehman/Bears of the world
did when there were no hard assets behind the debt.  Plus, WMT's cash
flow can, does, and more than likely will easily cover the interest
and principal payments when they come due (for now...that's why you
need to keep track of the 10Ks and ensure the underlying business is
still sound).

I agree, 33 billion is a lot of debt; but, the company earned $400
billion in revenues last year.  Those stores will continue to pay for
themselves (again, for now).

walmart is a scam or close to it like other retailers!  they have
china or other countries make cheap imitation name-brand products only
for them, i.e. panasonic but its really not a industry panasonic
product number; thats why its so cheap with extremely limited
functions!  Only fools buy these and says what a deal and dont realize
the true manufacturer warranty.  And support is very limited!

Now watch this thanksgiving holiday and most importantly "BLACK sale
day--Monday or Sunday or etc"  and see how time after time more guinea
pigs and dumb fools are made.  Most will say i don't care, i work at
walmart.  Always wait wait till after new years or order online.  Alot
of jackass's will be made this year again again.
