walmart is a scam or close to it like other retailers! they have
china or other countries make cheap imitation name-brand products only
for them, i.e. panasonic but its really not a industry panasonic
product number; thats why its so cheap with extremely limited
functions! Only fools buy these and says what a deal and dont realize

Well, you would have to do a thorough study of that debt in the 10Ks.
Much of the debt is just that, very long-term. It's also being used
to spur growth in things that could be resold if needed (i.e. hard
assets/property). It's not like what the Lehman/Bears of the world
did when there were no hard assets behind the debt. Plus, WMT's cash

Seems like this Nick guy is very speculative. Do some actual
valuations then guess work, as of now they have 33 billion dollars in
long term debt vs 66 bil in total equity. That is some serious

Yes, but you see, I'm trying reverse psychology at this point. I've
been singing the praises about WMT for a while now and it's gotten us
nowhere. So, I'm "going negative" in the hopes that Mr. Market will
eventually catch on.

Walmart is geting massive discounts from its suppliers for organising
these big sales which will push sales as well as margins for WMT. WMT
also gets bulk incentives if it meets targets of Fortune 500 companies
in terms of net sell and this will be a major factor.

Also dont forget if they sell everything out , it is better than half

Walmart is the only solid stock that u can be sure of cause u can see

Walmart will bring in droves of people in to shop by way of offers and

Great point I totally agree with you, sometimes you think that enough

can sell instead of a barren desolate wasteland. Another down side to

I believe there will be a fundamental shift in shopping trends for a
few more quarters (I refuse to say years just yet). Where it used to
be trendy to buy $1,000+ purses, or absolutely ridiculously priced
"art", people are now taking pride in how thrifty they can be. Will
it last for a decade or more, I have serious doubts.

Since ever consumer spending is a true indicator of where our economy
goes and if the numbers are saying continually weak that means we are
not going anywhere higher despite the "good winds" in the market
today.
In my opinion, WMT is going to trade in the next 6 month or so in a
narrow range between 45-50.

can't touch it through the end of the year. Reason being is that it
has underperformed the market (heck, it hasn't done a darn thing) all
