I own MRO.

It depends. In short, MRO is a well-run integrated with a track record
of good cash flow and dividend payouts.

If you believe that the current market is overbought and due for a
correction of some sort, MRO is a tad pricey. My cost basis is $24 and
I would buy more at $28-30 unless at that price we were in the midst

Hi,
Does anybody own this company?
Do you think this stock is expensive?
I have read that this stock is trading a 9x for 2010.
To me it looks like it is fairly priced.
If I sound really stupid could someone enlighten me.

IMHO, if oil is going back up to $60 or $100. Then companies like MRO,
MUR, HES & OXY would be good bets on takeovers now before the move

The timing is awesome. MRO dropped this week for a perfect buy in.
Now we get the Dividend pay off Monday. Not much but at these levels
it yields 4% which is better than a savings account right now. We
all know will see $30 again in the near future. It already hit
$28.50 today! But with the potentail stock split you will clean up.

This will actually be the third time that the Stock has split in the
companies market history. It looks like it is going to be the middle
of next year that it is going to happen it it isn't going to be your
typical split it is going to split into up and down stream so they are

This current price is Cheap!

MRO will do the split for sure. They know that their company is worth
a lot more by splitting.
It's only smart to split...
Cramer says the split will make the company worth $70 ...and I agree.
The oil sand sect is going to be worth $40-$50 and and the refinery
will be at least $20.....
