Subject: X in next couple of days
Do you guys think X will continue to sink tomorrow and next week?
It has been downhill ever since it hit 51+
With the factory reports today I get the feeling that we might go
below 40. Any thoughts guys?
Thanks

I am not so sure it will go below 40.  I think it will bottom out at
about 42 today or tomorrow.

Sell X now!  i lost 20% of my profits in 2 weeks...sucks!  There is a
sell momentum going on with no good news to stop it...objects in
motion will remain in motion...  Also, remeber that earnings are
coming in in about 2 weeks or so and based on the recent downgrade of
the steel sector and bad economy...X will more than likely miss
earnings which will trigger another hughe selloff.  X in (my opinion)
is going to the 30's in the next 3 weeks.  I dumped all my shres, will
buy back much lower afetr earnings.

The internal pressure to sell and secure a profit can be intense, eh?
I bought at $29 and won't sell for several years because its an
investment for me and I can't trade frequently enough (or with enough
shares) to make a profit, pay the tax, and try to get back in (taxes
really make this a one-sided game).

It will continue going down.I might pause ang go up a bit but a
meaningful movement to the upside is just dead due to fundamental and
technical factors. Fundamentally this company will continue losing
money for the rest of the year. Construction and Auto industries are
dead right now and it will continue like that for quite some time so
fundamentally this stock must go back bellow 20 really really soon.
Technically, the upside from 17.00 dollars was just a correction from
the big drop that started around 190.00. Right now the price is being
rejected fby the 200 EMA and unfortunatelly another bearish wave has
started. Botton line: It is time to short and buy again at depressed
prices.

I think you are right about X. It seems to be losing around 3-4 points
every day and I dont see a bottom yet. The whole market turned around
and most stcosk are in green now and this is still in negative.

yep!  oh by the way Red21...Buy and Hold is an old washed up concept
that does not work well in todays marketplace.  You can handle the tax
situation by owing a business.  Buy stocks with your business funds
(pre-tax investment) and any profits you gain can be written down in
your overall tax deductions.  That way you pay 15% capital gains as
opposed to your personal (ordinary income) tax rate, whatever that is
30-39% in most cases.  That's how you legally play the tax game until
they simplify the stupid tax code, my accountant will continue to find
legal loop holes.
