I have been saying that it will go up. It's not to late to get in. It
will hit 18 by Friday. You all need to have a little hope. I did and i
just bought a new BMW this morning. Man do I love this country.

Relying on paper profits to finance new purchases is what caused
panics in the past. You might want to set up a safety net just below
10 dollars

He could of cashed out then bought the car then got more shares. Dont
assume he went off of paper.

I did not, but since he still has shares, hoping for 18, he could be
in a lot of trouble if the shares don't hit 18 or even fall.

Say (1) he had 40000 dollars of BSC in the morning and sold them then,
(2) bought a BMW with that and some more (unless he got a used one),
then (3) bought 40000 dollars of BSC again--how different is that from
not selling and buying BSC, and simply holding it in the duration?

So if he still has BSC, he is therefore going off his paper profits.

nice. which model did you get? im guessing you didnt test drive the

What makes you think the stock will hit $18? Is that just a gut
feeling, or is there something behind that?

no you didn't.

this stock will drop to 2 dollars again before it hits 18, buddy, if
it hit 18 that would be nice since am still holding i got in at 2.50
cashed at 8.00 and picked up at 7, again, cashed at 13 and picked up
today at 11.43 so tomorrow if it hits 15. or 14 am dump and thank the
Bear before it became a division of JP...

oh, and my over all profit was 60k baby, that's not bad for a college
student, and the best part about it i did it all from the comfort of
my iphone. lol hahahaha

I sure hope that a college student who is unwisely risking his tuition
is not going into finance or any other business type of degree.  The
incredibly risky short term gains do not outweigh the greater long
term gains.  Sure it is possible that you could have used student
loans to pay for the deal, but if you had lost them and not be able to
finish college, you would have been up a crappy creek without a
paddle!  However, good for you if your risk paid off!

Did you read the following

"The new offer valued Bear Stearns at about $2.1 billion, compared
with $236 million under the original deal"

I would think by end of tuesday we should have a fair idea of whats
going on... what do u say
