If you had 80k in your account then your broker will allow u to buy
160k worth of shares.

Why dou have to trade 3000 shares...
May be you got attracted by TMA rallies.

I am sad for you.You should recover your money from market before you
quit trading.
Also dont buy 3000 shares in a bear market especially financials who r
in credit crisis.

Call your broker abt margin calls.
