you were able to buy more on margin, which is a fancy word for saying
you borrowed money to finance your purchases. Basically, the value of your holdings went down and since you're not allowed to borrow as much, you have to either sell some assets or put up more money to maintain the number of shares you have. You must Sign in before you can post messages.
