  You can&#39;t look at the P/E exclusively. You have to look at the PEG &lt;br&gt; ratio to account for growth. Barrick and Goldcorp are both large cap &lt;br&gt; stocks. Kinross is a mid cap stock.   ok, this guy is trading at $14.73 as I am writing this - levels not &lt;br&gt; seen since oct 2007. dollar seems to be on pretty strong rally. With a &lt;br&gt; P/E ratio of 26, this still does not look cheap to me. However, &lt;br&gt; goldcorp is at about 37 while Barrick is 15 times. Does this make a &lt;br&gt; strong case for barrick at this point?

  Kinross seems to be a much better buy than a few weeks ago when I sold &lt;br&gt; my shares. It&#39;s multiples have come down to reasonable levels, and I &lt;br&gt; believe it&#39;s the beginning of a small gold rally. The wildcard in the &lt;br&gt; earnings equation will likely be how diluted the shares have become &lt;br&gt; (obviously, dividing the earnings by a larger number of shares).

  It does not matter much. Dollar&#39;s going down during the next 6-12 &lt;br&gt; months. That means gold and gold producers will go up. Even crappy &lt;br&gt; gold stocks like NG will go up over the next year. My estimate\target &lt;br&gt; for KGC is $22 by year end. If events are more favorable, it might &lt;br&gt; even go up to $26.
