I think gold and AEM will sell off during December as people book
profits, take losses and reduce their exposure. AEM may trade back
below $60 where I will be a buyer.

Any thoughts on a buy price for AEM? It sold off to ~$51 after
earnings and has bounced up to $65. I'd like to add some gold to my
portfolio but don't want to buy up here. I'm thinking buying some
under $60 would be a good place to start. If it goes lower, buy more.

Thats a good question, I got into this stock last week hoping it would

Sorry - I was talking about the broad market, responding to cafe above
about getting out of the market. In hindsight it was a pretty bad
call by cafe, at least for now. I own some AEM, but not too much. I
will buy more when we get to ~45-46, and more if it goes 4 or 5 points
below that. Great company.

Just for the record, only Marketedge has this
recomended as a Long, all the other wonderful
review agencies basically seem to come down
as a weak hold...

All that negativity could be a buy indicator,
given what I have seen S&P do of late...
they literally upgraded HIG just last November,

because it's liquidity is nowhere near the US dollar or bonds. The

The stock is moving with Gold though what angers me is it overshoots

Have patience. This rally has nothing to do specifically with gold or
miners, but an overall market rally based on the news of the stimulus
package being released Monday or Tuesday ahead of the Treasury
auction. If you want to go short on this company, wait a little closer
to earnings. There's no way a company with a company earnings estimate

It's the safehaven property of gold that really appeals to
investors.. fiat currencies don't really satisfy the "store of value"
property of money. The fact that inflation easily erodes the value of
the dollar causes a lot of people to proceed with caution. When it

GS had a forecast for oil to go to 200 --- before it plunged to 40.
Now they have reversed their estimate to 45. That is going to prove

volume is so light and nothing seems to be going on at all with the

regardless, gold is cheap..agnico is cheaper..just wait for
international economies to start recovering and investors will move
out of the dollar and back into foreign currency..I'll see you all at
60 a share
