Java going up a little each day? Is it trying to get back to the
buyout price?? Or is it going to keep going up after that You must Sign in before you can post messages.

will be lucky to get back up to $9. If the deal goes through it will
pop to $9.50, if not, it will crash. On Nov 12, 10:58 pm, Terry <tgres...@gmail.com> wrote:

What I don't get really is that JAVA is huge, it is on most computers
and continues to evolve and grow its functionality. Google is almost 600.oo now, I realize that is a browser and JAVA is software but still if suddenly JAVA disappeared from all the computers it was on. there would be a huge hole in "the system", I think java should be a 20-50$ stock right now...I obviously don't get something.. Sun is losing money hand over fist in hardware and you can't separate
Java out. But come on, $20-50 per share? IBM wouldn't even pay $10. $9.50 is the current deal if MySQL is included. Otherwise, Oracle can walk and there will be a huge thud as JAVA drops to who knows what price. On Nov 14, 10:35 am, bobbags <bobb...@gmail.com> wrote:

I still agree with Terry. Java has a great business model the EU is
the problem. On Nov 14, 10:46 am, Frank <frank1...@gmail.com> wrote:

IBM would only buy low sell high, like any savy business. If
Oracle....when Oracle ...finishes the deal, and moves on , IBM will be kicking itself. Just like when cloud computing Open Source and the RED Hat types take over the IT world, IBM and others will be eating their dust. The IBM model of "we get it all", "we own it all", is a thing of the past, it is outdates old fashioned thinking...These days, you either learn to play with the group or you can take your ball and go home. Its an evolution that the IT world is doing more and more ,..and the old behemoths (sp?) like IBM aren't able to shed ...how they was brought up...if I may be so crass On Nov 15, 1:13 pm, bobbags <bobb...@gmail.com> wrote:
