i just dont understand this.... I brought when it crashed badly and
now its jsut stuck there.. I was hoping to see somewhere around 15 at least... How come any other big Company like IBM, HPQ, MS or ORCL is trying to buyout Java??? You must Sign in before you can post messages.

Luckily i havenīt bought any yet, i was watching NOVL and JAVA, NOVL

This stock does suck. I've owned it for so many years and it has done
nothing but disapoint me. Jonathan promised a good year...now we are at new lows. Stock split was supposed to intice bigger buyers but all it really has done is provide cushion from delisting. On the other hand...I've held it for this long whats another few

No the the 5 of 6 quarters were not good. If you invested in IBM or
Apple, you be up. Sun is down ~40% over a one year time frame. I think it is going to get much worse. I do not see good things on the horizion here. Which good things on the horizon are you referring to?

i guess he is referring to things that we will see 2-4 years down the
road but not very soon. I guess this stock really sucks if you are short term buyer. Its only worth having if you can hold on with it at least for 1 year... i am just waiting to get at least above 14 so i can make some profit... You must Sign in before you can post messages.

Sun is tanked because they refuse to follow the market. Sparc may be
ahead of the competition but is a dying architecture because nobody now wants to be locked into a niche architecture from a single vendor. Likewise, Solaris is a dying technology it may be superior than Linux
