Recent interview with acting OTS Director John Bowman..

June 18 (Bloomberg) -- Office of Thrift Supervision Acting Director
John Bowman talks with Bloomberg's Kathleen Hays about the Obama
administration's plan to dismantle the OTS and overhaul the financial
regulatory system.

Lawmakers have criticized the OTS for inefficiencies and lax
examinations that led to the failure of IndyMac Bancorp Inc. and
Washington Mutual Inc., the biggest collapse of a thrift in U.S.
history. (Source: Bloomberg)
