When "Discovery" is affirmed and JPM is locked in the corner, then you
must realize that a decison of this nature would have strong
implications that somewhere down the line the FDIC, as well as the OTS
and all parties intricately tied to this matter will wind up on the
discovery and depose list. And, if you think all those "diverse"
parties can hold a logical, supportive and above all.. innocent story
together..with a team assembled under Weil's experience and reach to
grill them, then you should short every WMI Pfd. and common into non
existence. My gut feeling says there are quite a few people already
consulting with their attorneys on that probability and scared @#$% to
be called because they "know a problem exists".
(sample conversation) between Dimon & Sullivan: "Yes Jamie,
circumventing non disclosures, planting people and stories to aide and
abet the takedown of WMB could be a felony if the communications were
interstate"..Yes, Jamie, supplying distorted numbers to both the FDIC
and the OTS could also be a felony under certain acts of Fraud",..Yes,
Jamie, that one could be a pip and you won't need your hair gel where
your going as "collusion or conspiracy" is really a big no-
no....Jamie, Jamie, are you still there???
However, if you believe, like I do, that we are at the begining of the
end and those parties will never subject themselves to Discovery, you
might as well sell the trailer and the cat and buy some more cheap
shares. Prices will be moving up from here, as some new players come
in to take up the slack..
