The way I understood is that:
They notified FDA about the changes. After notification they went
ahead and used the modified manufacturing for these devcies and then
they recalled these as they think notification is nenough the must

PS:
I just started reading... Wall Street Journal says that the company:
"...failed to report to the FDA changes in how it manufactures its
line of implantable heart defibrillators."
How does a health/medical company "accidentally" kinda sorta forget to
notify the FDA of a major manufacturing change?!

Trust me it is a good company. I did some research for them. They paid
about 3K for about 8 hours of research. Seems like they have monay and
on track for huge growth. They were working on high dencity battery
which has huge upside.

Not sure... I've never heard of Boston Scientific until today.
I like to research all companies that take a dramatic dive, to try to
determine if the market is over-reacting, or if the plunge was
warranted.
Do you know anything about the company, and it's future prospects?

I think it is up because the market overreacted to the earnings, the
market usually overreacts to news one way or the other.
