| Triple Top Reversal Pattern Has Been Confirmed In SBUX
This Bearish pattern validates the fact that there is too much optimism on the dips in SBUX, and that buying has been exhausted in this name. This triple top reversal pattern can be easily viewed with a 6 month chart, and you'll see three sharp points at ~ $16, the pattern suggests that this dip is to be sold, and not to be bought.... gotsho...@gmail.com - |
| Deja vu
Just pulled out an older discussion and how some people were thinking that the only way for ther price would be up. Some who bought then are just back to their book price at best. But look at the graph and see for yourselves. Just a reality check. [link]... syr...@gmail.com - |
| SBUX is starting to really come around
Their NEW drinks are KING, their food is WAY better then it used to be. I notice my locale store is a lot busier then it was 6 months ago. I was in McDonalds the other day for some reason, I was lost, I ordered one of their ice coffees to check it out (was made from reg. old coffee) for like 2 bucks it was NASTY as crap! I'll spend 50 cents... fm1...@gmail.com - |
| How Is SBUX More Expensive Than GOOG?
When looking at the PEG ratio for both SBUX and GOOG I observed that SBUX is ~ 25% more expensive than Google. Huh? Okay, Okay, Okay, let me think about this for a second.......Google is a much better company than SBUX, with better growth prospects, with better management, with innovative employees, and, it's 25% less expensive than SBUX when... gotsho...@gmail.com - |
| Let's Pay 26x Earnings For A Company w/ No Near Term Growth
I mean, I did see people holding that white cup with the green logo on the front. That must mean it's worth 26x current earnings, and ?x Future earnings (the ? = I have no idea what the future earnings of SBUX will be). Sometimes you just have to sit back and chuckle at the Lemmings who would pay any price for a company with a cloudy future.... gotsho...@gmail.com - |
| You Can't Cut Your Way Into Prosperity, The Growth Needs To Be Organic
It's comical to see how Desperate the market is for "good" news. First, Starbucks cannot cut its way into prosperity, as the growth needs to be naturally organic (through strong revenue growth and strong store traffic), however, the organic growth is not there with Starbucks. Second, the market is operating in a vacuum, as we're... gotsho...@gmail.com - |

Why is trading volume so low these days? Any thoughts? syr...@gmail.com - |
| 3 Million Shares Traded So Far, But The Gain Is 3%
The market's pitching you a fast ball down the middle...are you going to just stand there hoping the stock goes higher, or are you going to swing and lock in some gains here? This has to be lightest volume all year, so there's clearly no conviction in this rally. I'm sure the majority of people buying are... gotsho...@gmail.com - |
| What goes up must come down
Any guesses on when SBUX will be back to $14.06 or $16.92? My guess: 7 or less trading days to get at or below $14.06. Let's have no big dicsussions on this one, just one guess per response please. syr...@gmail.com - |
| Are You Being Greedy, Wise, or Just Plain Ignorant?
For the most part investors still remain very (if not extremely) bullish on SBUX. In the last month the stock is up ~ 30% on zero news. Has anything changed in the business model? Are customers suddenly demanding more of the coffee beans at Starbucks because their gasoline price has dropped from $4.30 to $4.21 per gallon? I don't... gotsho...@gmail.com - |
