No stock is worth a PE of 146, especially Starbucks. Anyone who goes
long on a P/E 146 equity is a fool.

You might consider pricing in PEG. If SBUX makes .20 every quarter
(and that's less than the guidance given today), P/E would be more
like 22-24. Still not as low as I'D like, but better than the 140's.

This is really bad, but nothing like PALM (produces commodities,
smartphones) and has PE -3, price/sales 5. Anyhow, both companies will
suffer when "official" unemployment hits 11% next year.

agreed, sbux is ripe, congrats to holders, i just watch as a market
indicator, but not sure what the dji average p/e would be, is there a
metric for that?
