I haven't heard if anybody at the Annual Meeting asked Mr. Schultz
about his sale of the Sonics to people from Oklahoma City who are now
trying to move the team.  A poll by KING 5 News yesterday showed that
15% of people in Seattle blame Howard Schultz for the impending loss
of the team, and many local fans are actually boycotting Starbucks.
Only Clay Bennett, the new owner, is blamed more than Mr. Schultz.
Did this topic come up at all?

It looked liked Schultz was wearing a Kevlar vest and dodging laser
pointers on stage?
Apparently during the Shareholders Meeting he thought the opening
applause was for him.
The employees and retirees were just happy to see he didn't leave the
country.  Iraq could us another "talking head" leader.

We saw him earlier in the week... he ducked into Lark Restaurant on
Capitol Hill with a trench coat and large hat.
He took his meal to go...talk about a lonely guy...Persona non grata.

The stock is also responding to the large insurance policy they are
taking out for window repairs.

Seattle has this guy figured out.  The blind investors and new
employees will find out he is salesman.
How do you know when a salesman is lying?  Answer:  His mouth is
moving!
Seventeen more dollar till rock bottom.

It really is a sad thing what he did to the Sonics, especially after
coming in to "save" the team for Seattle.  I wonder if he will ever
deal with the mistake in a public way, perhaps apologizing, and even
better would be if he tries to help keep the team here.  He always
claimed to be a big fan, but his action in a fit of pique with the
city of Seattle over financing was a huge blunder.  Surely he could
have found a local group to sell the team to, if he was that burned
out.
