Subject: iPhone nano to run on Sprint?
I keep hearing rumors lately about iPhone on Sprint... I keep hearing
theres an iPhone nano on the way.. Rumor has it that the new iPhone
will have a hybrid UMTS/CDMA radio inside, so it'll work on nearly all
major carriers. The report also cites that the device will have a 2.8"
screen, downsized from the current 3.5" display.

Since Verizon is push "DROID" so heavy it seems unlikely Apple would
want to deal with them... Any thoughts??

Rumors began surfacing in 08' when Apple advertised a need for a Wimax
engineer.  Video downloads using wimax network speed could be
something that Apple has been preparing for.  It knows LTE is a
distant second in the 4G frontier of development.

Interesting read 08' article:

savdini ~ Another rumor floating out there involves Apple buying
Sprint.  Apple could then deliver the true "Mobile TV" experience
enabling iTunes movie rentals and purchases to display directly on a
WiMax capable Apple TV, computer, iPhone and other WiMax equipped
devices.  I don't think many understand how big Wimax is and how
Sprint is the positioned leader in that frontier...
