Clearwire Is Worth More-Bidding War?
Ergan obviously agrees that Clearwire is worth more than the lowball offer Sprint made. As I wrote before Son will have to cough up more or they won't get what I believe they want. Sprint will have to offer more than the Dish bid or Dish will obtain a significant block of Clearwire stock. SoftBank could just walk away. Even if they do I doubt Sprint will sell their stake to Dish however all those billions from SoftBank would be gone. And Dish could up it's bid too. In my opinion Dish has locked in plenty of shares with it's superior offer. Someone else will have to bid higher to stop Ergan's grip. Then Ergan will bid even higher in my opinion. Meanwhile it gives Dish some time to find some wealthy partners to join it and make an offer to Clearwire directly for new common shares or convertible equity or debt to give them more votes than Sprint. It could happen. However today's offer should make Clearwire shareholders more reluctant to part with their shares anytime soon.... sayhellotoy...@gmail.com - |

What Is Clearwire Worth And What Has It's Board Done To Obtain Maximum Value For All Shareholders
These are two paramount issues. Who has financed Clearwire or where they got their spectrum do not give the board the right to work on behalf of only one shareholder. Did they try their hardest to obtain maximum value for all shareholders? Where are the independent appraisals of the value of Clearwire assets? Sprint: From Failure To Failure
Not so long ago Sprint was ready to ditch Clearwire and eagerly awaited the Lightsquared buildout. That crapped out due to interferences or alleged interferences with GPS frequencies. So Sprint ran back to it's punching bag Clearwire. Now the offer by Sprint has been written up in much of the media as a large gain from the lows or early this year. Those lows were only reached, in my opinion due to media trouncing of Clearwire that focused on debt coming due and not on the ever increasing revenue stream.... sayhellotoy...@gmail.com - |

Softbank Takeover Doomed
The proposed takeover of Sprint is doomed. Softbank clearly wants Clearwire's spectrum. Then Sprint has value. Except the situation is messy and will get messier. Sprint will not reach the threshold to delist Clearwire as too many shares will vote against the offer as it stands and will not tender. That leaves Clearwire as a public... Hello Yall - |

Going against significant shareholders and independent estimates of spectrum value Clearwire board submits to rising Son. The Clearwire board had previously declined to sell valuable spectrum and instead chose the route of bowing to Sprint's desires does it again with a new twist. Apparently a wealthy Japanese family believes they can walk away with Clearwire's valuable spectrum at a pittance of estimated value. Uh not so fast. $AMBS A NO BRAINER, what a monster, broke 2 cents today closed with a gain of 158%! No limits on this one. Day 3 of run and going.
Hands showed how strong they are for the last 3 trading days, as MM's tried to slow it down before 1 cent after it broke 1 cent and all day today, yet it closed at nearly the high of the day.
