Even if Lehman Brothers come out from bankruptcy, the company is
likely to issue the new share. How much can the stock worth by that
time? or do people ues the old stock to exchange the new issue?

Sorry dude, the stock is worthless. Once a company files for
bankruptcy their shares are automatically placed into the OTC
category. LEH became LEHMQ. Any company with a stock with Q on the end
of the ticker is no longer associated or connected with the bankruptcy
decisions. They can offer an IPO for Lehman into the future. Same
thing has happended with GM and LEAR. You are trading with others who
are pumping this worthless stock, and they know it. Take your profits
while you can. By the way, I had just a 1000 shares about a month ago
and it didn't move so I sold out. Wished I would have held for this
pump. Now watch for the ole dump coming. Maybe not. It's up to you.
Good Luck

I don't think is worthless. Take it look at most of the bankrupted
corporations. They are moving up.

I take that back. It's not worthless to the people who are still
trading because you are just trading and competing against others whom
are basically ignorant, not stupid, ignorant of the facts. GM told all
of the people still trading their past shares to stop trading them.
Now, what in the heck does that mean?

that jumps the stock price of bankruptcy companys?

Then give those reasons.  I have had 50k shares since it was 3 cents
so this is a good thing for me, but WHY has it jumped except for a
"pump-n-dump"???

I think the stock is worthless to the most investors. Maybe it worths
something to the creditors according to "Quoting Tony Lomas, one of
the partners at PWC leading the case, the report noted that he would
file the claim on behalf of "more than 100" Lehman units that fall
under the London umbrella." Stockholders may be qualified to fight for
their loss, which I do not quite understand from the above quotation.
However, I think Lehman has enough cash for all debtors.

Additionally after bankruptcy, the stock is usually cancelled when the
compnay emerge. I will assume that the stock is worthless in this case
since the risk is too high.

Preferred bondholders always get first crack at recouping their
losses, along with of course, convertible bonds. Common stocks get the
shaft! Period! Always worked that way and always will. People are just
betting against each other and if you want to do that, that is YOUR
business, not mine. But, when someone pumps a stock that is worthless
to me and the market itself, I will not bite on it. In fact, I condone
it. Just watched 60 Minutes and a report about derivatives and the
credit swap that was basically a side bet and caused the whole entire
world market to collapse. How many innocents suffered this fate? I
know a lot of you will laugh and say "Not my problem, dude." Well, it
is a problem to me. MY TAKE ON IT!

It's not completely the same thing as roulette - it's more like kids
playing musical chairs. The stock is completely worthless and the
existing shares will almost certainly be canceled when or if LEHM
comes out of bankruptcy. Anyone with half a brain knows this. The
increasing volume gives people a chance to gamble that they'll be able
to get their money out before everyone else does. Whoever is moronic
enough to actually hold this stock longer than it takes to get a few
pennies worth of profit out of it deserves the 100% loss they're going
to eventually take.

This stock is being pumped and will soon be dumped - everyone out
there trading in this worthless ought to take their money and run
right now if they've got more than two brain cells in their head.

People can be so stupid when money is involved...

Yeah, that's my name, Fed-up. I've been in this sleezy market for
about 8 months now. With all of the option traders, shorters, MM'ers
manipulating the market it oozes with sleeze. I probably will get out
shortly. Sticking around just to C what people do next. Bitter? NO. I
haven't made any money but have minimal losses. If it wasn't for
learning this screwed up system I would have lost lots more.

I don't agree that the stock is worthless...in fact the price is up as
of lately.  What are you all talking about?  Obviously investing in
this stock is risky, but penny stocks are inherently risky with the
potential for large returns.

There is a very important fact to consider here.

CHAPTER 11.

A federal judge that was appointed when Lehman filed bankrupt that
will ultimately decide whether LEHM efficiently settled all of their
valid claimed debts, and still has enough to operate as an investment
bank again.

Early estimates show that after it is all said and done, LEH will have
2.1 billion$ in liquid and another estimated amount that I will not
make up b/c I don't know the exact figure in tangible assets. B/c of
the amount of outstanding shares and the minimum of liquid assets it
is a gamble whether or not the judge will approve, however, I don't
know how these things work in detail. I do know however Chapter 13
means done for good, CHAPTER 11 means it all rides on the companies
abilitiy to consolidate and tie off the losse ends...

I agree it is a gamble. But I gambled a modest 10,000.00 on a judges
decision. If it is allowed to operate, I will not sell at 1.00$ or
10.00$ I will retire and claim it as assets, live off of the dividend
when I retire and borrow against it if need be. If not... I still have
ESPH! ....and an excellent job.

cheers.
