  Thanks, I knew about OPEC, but didn&#39;t know when, and yes I believe &lt;br&gt; they will reduce output, that helps my theory even more, &#39;cause you &lt;br&gt; know as well as I do how the market overreacts to everything. I do &lt;br&gt; think think this hurricane will be a factor early in the week because &lt;br&gt; nobody will know until later in the week what its track or strength

  Two different ways of looking at it: &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;1) Bad news like the FNM/FRE take overs, job losses, hurricanes, ect., &lt;br&gt; usually helps the price of Gold, which usually leads to an increase in &lt;br&gt; the value of gold related stock. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;2) On the other hand, as oil goes, gold usually follows.   Price, supply and demand and industry stock prices are moving &lt;br&gt; uncorrelated and there area a couple of conspiraty theories around. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;Meaning : there&#39;s info that we dont have that&#39;s moving the market. &lt;br&gt; Personally i will stay put and wait till next week wait for a &lt;br&gt; retractment then as news roll out and stabilizes market downtrend

  Canadian dollar has been strong this week against US dollar. However &lt;br&gt; gold has been settling $790 to $840 top. i expect this to retrace back &lt;br&gt; to $30 - $32 level, $29 close price would be my stop limit.
