Why SunTimes is at $0.32 though revenues are $400 million

The Sun Times does nearly $400 million a year in business but its
stock costs about $0.35, and I think we know why. We are a

I really don't think there is much risk here, but lots of upside.
Their revenue is still 300m-350m per year. However, as a small media
group they have very few economies of scale and are forced to spend
about 400m to get their papers out of the door. They have value to a

I bought 1000 at .45 cents if it goes back to .50 I will most likely
sell just trying to recover trading cost. my advise would stay long
if you are okay with that. After it is delisted it will probably see
even less trading and will see new all time lows; on the bright side
they are for sell and maybe a buyer will come along at such low prices

Pretty much everything having to do with paper news media is down..
right now, as they transition to include a greater emphasis on
internet media. In other words people are just buying less paper these
days. The good news is that it has a way of leveling the playing

I would not buy this stock right now. It will continue to sink to a
new all time low. This company is not going to pick back up fast
anytime soon. I would hold off on it.

Well, thats the market for you! Who would have expected that Cyrus F.
Freidheim would foolishly choose to announce that they will give
up,bend over and accept their delisting, and sell SVN stock over the
counter, one day before their quarterly report,and that close to
courting a buyer at .80 a share! which was, by the way, the insider

better be out from this . i bought this for .88 and sold it for .70.
i were to wait ... then u see whats happening. you will have to very

doesn't look like your ideas are accurate at this point. stock is at
52-week low today right before 1Q earnings come out. anyone have an
idea what earnings are likely to be? i know the company said they
expect to turn a profit but who knows if they're telling the truth or

Thursday, listen to the financial report from this company .There is
rumor of a sale to Gannett (GCI) . You will see an increase in the
price leading up to the Thurs conference based upon this speculation .
Keep an eye on the insider trading as a precurser to this action.

I think it's a good buy, they're really undervalued. The company has
really strong fundamentals: 0.2 P/E Ratio, 70% institutional owned.
It's just the economy, thats all. Strong companies like this almost
always bounce back.
