Rob...please tell me why to hold! I want to hold, but this is very
bloody, I think the stock is actually over sold now. Do you see things
getting better for us?

Brian,

I think if you hold long enough NOK wont disappoint you. $18 price
target is not bad.

S&P Analyst Research Notes
S&P REITERATES HOLD OPINION ON ADSS OF NOKIA
Monday 10/12/2009 1:08 PM ET - Standard & Poor's Research Notes
We believe industry handset demand remained relatively weak during Q3,
but view an end to inventory destocking and improving economic
sentiment as positive signs for future growth. Our enthusiasm for NOK,
however, is tempered by concerns about Q4 margin pressures and lack of
a flagship high-end model and application ecosystem. Still, we view
NOK as well positioned long-term to capitalize on the move of the
smartphone into the mass market via its broad distribution and low
cost production advantages. On currency translation, we raise our 12-
month target price by $1 to $18

Guess it depends which end you're looking at it. I troll the stocks
looking for over-reaction to bad news. I'm in at 13.61. Already seeing
profit. I'll hold til next week sometime. I'm figuring by tomorrow
13.80ish or better. Nokia wont sit on its haunches for long. Gotta
look at the bigger picture. Sell now and you'll probably kick yourself
tomorrow. Last trade I did was svnt on the mega dip last week. Made
about 7%.

I don't want to regret selling so I am holding strong. I am hoping
this quarter is the worst behind us for Nokia and the future will be
bright again. I am hoping this stock will pop now. Rob and Rajesh what
do you see as a price target? Will you hold until $18?

Well, I think it's time to wake up and buy AAPL.  The iPhone has
already knocked RIM out and now NOK.  When Apple hits with the tablet
after the holidays, it's going to get worse.

I don't see any over-reaction for NOK. ERIC posted just a Q3 profit
warning exactly two years ago and they lost half their market cap
instantly. They haven't had a lossy quarter since and they still
haven't recovered. Nokia lost almost a billion dollars and only went
down 10%. It makes no sense.

I think that these trends are already factored into AAPL's share
price. I suspect that the company will stand strong in the coming
years, but I don't expect any miraculous stock price hikes.

Anyway NOKs drop wasn't about their handset business. They are still
making good cash there, and they are still the market leaders. The
loss came from their Nokia-Siemens JV. It looks like that JV is going
down the drain and they will have to look for an exit strategy soon -
I wouldn't be surprised to see further consolidation perhaps with ALU
or MOT - in a similar manner as Ericsson's EMP division consolidated
with ST. It's amazing what's happening in the telco infrastructure
market where just a few years ago you had 5-6 big players, all of them
in Europe and North America and now you pretty much have just Ericsson
and the Chinese competitors catching up fast.

I'm holding shares of NOK at entry points around $15.00 (1000 shares)
and $13.70 (2000 shares).

Not sweating at all and want to buy 2000 more shares on Monday morning
around $12.70s .

Nokia is not going to go bankrupt any time soon and it pays a good
dividend on a year by year basis.

Even in crappy year we have on 2008, they still paid over $.40 div per
share.

I'm seeing NOK hitting the $20 in 2010 when their next Maemo product
takes stage.
