Geo Company makes money from Detention centers that are outsourced to
the Geo Company. States and Feds pay them 30-40k per prisoner. There stock price is affected by the amount of people arrested and the amount of people they house. After people are incarcerated they are used to build, landscape, and various others task that are physically demanding ie Chain gangs. Basically its wackenhut's slavery industry. Is that a bad thing? What is wrong with hard work and pay back to
society. Would you rather they hang out in the courtyard lifting weight and planning their reentry to society and gangs they belong to. The majority of people (notice I said majority, not all) are there because they deserve to be there. How can you feel sorry for someone who rapes, steals or murders someone else? They are people with no morals or care for humanity. That how they get to prison. Get real - they belong on a chain gang. Of course, I am not sure if you even know if they are on a chain gang. Lol get the facts....1.2 million people are in our prisons today for
NON VIOLENT DRUG CRIMES. 2.2 Million people in the U.S are in jail right now. That means over half the people "Paying back society" really dont deserve to be forced into slavery. Would you like to be arrested for smoking a cig or drinking? Considering that is more harmful that weed i think we should just throw them all in jail. Makes sense right?
