The July 2006 NPD Data has been released (later than usual). July is
typically the weakest month of the year for satellite radio sales. This
coupled with FCC issues for both Sirius and XM Satellite Radio make
this data and the year over year comparisons important. The July data
marks 11 consecutive months that Sirius has had a greater share than XM
in NPD sales.
